Distribution: Type locality: “Central California”; “Blue Lakes, California” [Lake County] (Pelham 2022 [revised 2 February 2022]). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Nisoniades lacustra Wright, 1905 Taxonomic Notes: Erynnis lacustra (Wright, 1905), formerly a subspecies of 3946 Erynnis brizo (Boisduval & Le Conte, [1837]), is raised to full species status in Burns (2020).
