Distribution: Stray in southern Texas.br>Type locality: Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama.

  • bromias (Godman & Salvin, 1894) (Pellicia) STRAY
      Type locality: Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama.
  • rubescens of authors; (not Möschler, 1877) (Pellicia) misappl.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Nisoniades bromias (Godman & Salvin, 1894), formerly treated as a subspecies of rubescens Möschler, 1877, is raised to full species status in Zhang et al. (2020). "True" rubescens is extralimital north of Mexico.
