Synonymy: • Thorybes dobra Evans, 1952 • Eudamus mexicana of authors, not Herrich-Schäffer, 1869 Taxonomic Notes: Thorybes dobra Evans, 1952, formerly treated as a subspecies of Thorybes mexicana (Herrich-Schäffer, 1869) is raised to full species status in Zhang et al. (2020). T. mexicana is extralimital north of Mexico.
