Distribution: NM, AZ. Similar Species: Thorybes nevada Scudder, 1872. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: dobra Evans, 1952 (Thorybes)   Type locality: Graham Co., AZ. mexicana of authors; (not Herrich-Schäffer, 1869) (Eudamus) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Thorybes dobra Evans, 1952, formerly treated as a subspecies of Thorybes mexicana (Herrich-Schäffer, 1869) is raised to full species status in Zhang et al. (2020). T. mexicana is extralimital north of Mexico.
