Synonymy:
  • oenotherana Riley 1881 (Conchylis) - MONA 1983: 3842
  • Taxonomic Notes: Atroposia oenotherana (Riley, 1881) was formerly unassigned to genus in Meltzer & Brown (2014), Jour. Lepid. Soc. 68(4): 278. Pogue (1986) proposed the genus Atroposia for this species in his unpublished Ph.D. dissertation and is nomen nudum (unavaillable). Brown (2019) published the name Atroposia, new genus, Zootaxa, 4671(2): 198.
    This species was number 3842 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
    3848 (1983 list) Phalonidia schwarziana (Busck, 1907) is a synonym of 3807 Phalonidia lepidana.
