Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fabaceae.  Host genera: Acaciella[=Acacia] Gleditsia Leucaena Mimosa Parkinsonia Prosopis Senna Vachellia[=Acacia].  Notes: larva in seed pods (Powell & Opler 2009); in fruits (Robinson et al 2002).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: leguminana (Busck, 1907) (Phalonia) - MONA 1983: 3835; TL: Washington, DC.
