Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Phalonia temerana Busck, 1907 • Phalonia cincinnatana Kearfott, 1907 Taxonomic Notes: Cochylichroa temerana (Busck, 1907), formerly in the genus Cochylis, is placed in the genus Cochylichroa in Brown (2019), Zootaxa, 4671(2):195-222. This species was number 3854 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). 3781 (1983 list) Lorita abnormana Busck, 1939 is a synonym of 3803 Lorita scarificata.
