Canada: ON; USA: IL, OK (BOLD, BugGuide). Holotype: Vineland Station, ON. Paralectotypes: Canada: ON, MB; USA: TX. |
Description/ Field Marks: |
WS: 9-13 mm (Razowski 1997). Ground color whitish/pinkish brown, markings brown, median fascia usually divided, anal portion not necessarily triangular (Michael Sabourin, pers. com., 2023). |

Similar Species: |
- Cochylichroa hospes (Walsingham, 1884) is larger with well defined triangular patch on the inner margin of the FW (Michael Sabourin, pers. com., 2023).
