Synonymy: aurorana (Kearfott, 1907) (Phalonia) - MONA 1983: 3812 Taxonomic Notes: Cochylichroa aurorana (Kearfott, 1907), formerly in the genus Cochylis, Brown (2019), Zootaxa, 4671(2):195-222, was number 3812 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
