Distribution: Pacific Northwest to MN. Introduced from Europe. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: zoegana (Linnaeus, 1767) (Phalaena) brunneucycla Razowski, 1961 (Agapeta) ferrugana (Haworth, 1811) (Tortrix) Taxonomic Notes: Agapeta zoegana (Linnaeus, 1767) was released in 1984 as a biocontrol of knapweed.
