Similar Species: Aethes bomonana (Kearfott, 1907)
Aethes obliquana (Kearfott, 1907)
The identities of obliquana and bomonana is unclear and may require further revision.
Taxonomic Notes: Aethes triassumenta Pogue, 2019, n. sp., was proposed by Pogue (1986) as the type for the genus Morta in his unpublished Ph.D. dissertation and is nomen nudum (unavaillable). The name was published in Brown (2019), Zootaxa, 4671(2): 217.
