Distribution: OH, IL, IN, IA, MI (Metzler 1999). Holotype: Resthaven Wildlife Area, Margaretta Township, Erie Co.,OH. Description/ Field Marks: A poorly formed outwardly angled inner fascia from costal to dorsal margin encloses a basal costal streak of same color. Similar Species: Aethes baloghi Aethes fernaldana Aethes seriatana Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
