Description/ Field Marks: Typically has comparatively thicker median fascia than seriatana, an outwardly angled inner fascia with coastal half indiscernible encloses a basal costal patch of same color. Similar Species: Aethes fernaldana Aethes patricia Aethes seriatana Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: baloghi Sabourin & Metzler, 2002 (Aethes)   Type locality: Holotype: Yonkers, Westchester Co., NY. Taxonomic Notes: Aethes baloghi Sabourin & Metzler, 2002 n. sp., J. Lepid. Soc. 56: 230.
