Description/ Field Marks: See TortAI species page at idtools.org Genitalia: See TortAI species page at idtools.org Similar Species: Platynota rostrana and P. flavedana are similar. The two species can be distinguished easily from each other by the scaling on the head - with a complex “hood” in rostrana, a simple one in flavedana - difficult to see well in photographs.
