Distribution: Type locality: "Idaho, Blaine Co., Alturas Lake". Genitalia: See Obraztsov (1963). Similar Species: Eana niveosana (Packard, 1866) may be represented in part by BOLD:AAA4129, a BIN group divided by DNA barcode in two clusters, one primarily southern AB and BC and the other ranging across Canada to Alaska. (M. Sabourin, per. comm., 2024). Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Eana idahoensis Obraztsov, 1963
