Description/ Field Marks: See Obraztsov (1963). Genitalia: See Obraztsov (1963). Similar Species: Acleris nigrolinea is separated by genitalia. Acleris disputabilis is separated by genitalia. Acleris maximana of authors (not Barnes & Busck, 1920), BOLD BIN: ABY9140, is the species illustrated in Razowski (1966:389). Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: maximana (Barnes & Busck, 1920) (Peronea) - MONA 1983: 3557   Type locality: Canada, "British Columbia, Victoria".
