Distribution: Type locality (caryosphena): Greenland. "West Greenland (Sondra, Stromfjord, Camp Lloyd)".
Similar Species:

Taxonomic Notes: Acleris caryosphena (Meyrick, 1937) is treated as a synonym of 3534 Acleris arcticana (Guenée, 1845) at Tortricid.net and as a full species in Karsholt et al. (2015). Dang illustrations of genitalia show significant differences between the two species. BOLD specimens identified as Acleris are significantly separated by DNA barcode.
