Distribution: Introduced from Europe. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: montanana (Duponchel, 1843) (Ephippiphora) alpestrana (Herrich-Schäffer, 1851) (Tortrix) blasiana (Kennel, 1919) (Hemimene) herbosana Barrett, 1872 (Dichrorampha) modestana (Müller-Rutz, 1922) (Hemimene) olivacea (Müller-Rutz, 1934) (Hemimene) tanaceti Stainton, 1857 (Dichrorampha) Taxonomic Notes: Dichrorampha montanana (Duponchel, 1843) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico, discovered in NA by Pohl et al. (in prep.), in their work on the Lepidoptera of Canada and AK.
