Distribution: Type locality: USA, "Mississippi, Franklin Co., tributary of McGehee Creek, TN, R4E, Sec. 26 SW". Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Eucosmomorpha nearctica Miller, 2001 • Tortrix albersana of authors not Hübner, [1813] Taxonomic Notes: Eucosmomorpha nearctica Miller, 2001 n. sp., includes as a synonym 3399.1 Eucosmomorpha albersana of authors not (Hübner, [1813]), J. Lepid. Soc. 55: 83. This synonymy was overlooked in Pohl et al. (2016) which listed E. albersana as introduced.
