Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Grapholitha taleana Grote, 1878 Taxonomic Notes: Hystrichophora taleana: Todd Gilligan (pers. comm., 07/2013) advises that there are at least two undescribed species forming a complex with H. taleana. It will require spread specimens and/or examination of genitalia to distinguish them. Descriptions of differencesd are not presently available. ~ B.P.
