Distribution: Alaska south to southern California and east to Saskatchewan (BOLD). Colorado and British Columbia (pulsatillana), California (siskiyouensis) (Heinrich 1923). Type locality (pulsatillana): Foothills at Boulder and Golden, CO. Type locality (siskiyouensis): Shasta Retreat, Siskiyou Co., CA. Larva and Host Plants: "Pulsatilla hirsutissima" (pasqueflower), Clematis (Heinrich 1923). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Eucosma pulsatillana Dyar, 1903 • Epinotia siskiyouensis Heinrich, 1923 (described as a variety of pulsatillana) Taxonomic Notes: Epinotia pulsatillana (Dyar, 1903) includes as a subspecies 3285.1 Epinotia siskiyouensis Heinrich, 1923.
