Synonymy: obscurostrigella Chambers 1874 (Tinea) - MONA 1983: 0324; Type locality: Texas longinella Zagulajev 1964 (Cephitinea) Taxonomic Notes: Cephimallota obscurostrigella (Chambers, 1874) was formerly in the genus Cephitinea, n. gen. syn. in Gaedike (2019).
