Distribution: WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, UT, CO, WT (Wright & Gilligan 2015). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: tenuiana (Walsingham, 1879) (Semasia) - MONA 1983: 2960   Type locality: Lectotype: Sheep Rock, Siskiyou Co., CA. Taxonomic Notes: Eucosma tenuiana: Formerly placed in the genus Phaneta, Gilligan et al. (2013), Zootaxa, 3746(2): 301-337.
