Synonymy: virginiana Busck 1914 (Evetria) wenzeli Kearfott 1910 (Rhyacionia) Taxonomic Notes: Retinia virginiana (Busck, 1914) includes as a synonym Retinia wenzeli (Kearfott, 1910), nomen nudum, not published as a new species with a valid description and therefore an invalid name, Agricultural Experiment Station. Memoir. 68: 439.
