Description/
Field Marks:
Male antennal pecten length at least two-fold antennal segment length (Miller, 1985).
Genitalia: See Great Lakes Entomol., 18(3): 119-122.
Similar Species:
  • Rhyacionia busckana male has antennal pecten length subequal to antennal segment length (Miller 1985).
  • Western records may refer to a cryptic species based in part on DNA barcode. Further study is needed.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy: Rhyacionia granti Miller, 1985
