Description/ Field Marks: |
Male antennal pecten length at least two-fold antennal segment length (Miller, 1985). |

Similar Species: |
- Rhyacionia busckana male has antennal pecten length subequal to antennal segment length (Miller 1985).
- Western records may refer to a cryptic species based in part on DNA barcode. Further study is needed.
