Synonymy: • Orthotaenia septentrionana Curtis, 1835 • ?Penthina fulvifrontana Packard, 1867 • ?Sciaphila primariana Walker, 1863 • Tortrix schaefferana Herrich-Schäffer, 1851 Taxonomic Notes: Phiaris septentrionana (Curtis, 1835) was formerly placed in Olethreutes; the current generic treatment follows Aarvik et al. (2017).
