Synonymy: perplexus (Neumoegen & Dyar, 1893) (Trypanus) - MONA 1983: 2695 Taxonomic Notes: Toronia perplexus: Toronia perplexa (Neumögen & Dyar, 1893), formerly in the genus Miacora, is returned to Toronia in Schoorl (1990), Zoöl. Verh. 263: 42.
