Description/
Field Marks:
A member of the gemmalis species-group. See Heppner (2023), Lepid. Novae, 15(3-4): 141; fig. 42, 44-45, 48-49, F8, M8.
Similar Species:
  • Tebenna immutabilis (Braun, 1927) replaces hesperia in northern CA.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • hesperia Heppner, 2023 (Tebenna)
      Type locality: Holotype: Del Valle Lk., Patterson Reserve, Alameda Co., CA.
