Synonymy: caliginosa (Braun, 1921) (Choreutis) - MONA 1983: 2637; Holotype: Two Medicine Lake, Glacier National Park, MT. Distribution: Montana (and possibly Alberta) south to Arizona and New Mexicio - Heppner (2022). Similar  : Species Pinned specimens of related species.
