Synonymy: coloradella (Dyar, 1900) (Choreutis) - MONA 1983: 2636   Type locality: Lectotype: Durango, La Plata Co., CO. Taxonomic Notes: Caloreas coloradella (Dyar, 1900) was unintentionally described is a key using the manuscript name by Kearfott.
