Synonymy: schulzella (Fabricius, 1794) (Tinea) Taxonomic Notes: Aetole schulzella (Fabricius, 1794) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico, two males from Dade Co., Florida, J.B. Heppner, Univ. Calif. Publ. Entom., 124: 1-158.
