Type locality: Toronto, ON.
Description/
Field Marks:
Typically white head and thorax. Possible a species complex of several cryptic species.
Similar Species:
  • Argyresthia goedartella (Linnaeus, 1758), head and thorax golden. This Eurasian species, apparently restricted in North America to Alaska, has historically been confused with calliphanes.
