Distribution: Canada: BC; USA: WA. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: malinellus Zeller, 1838 (Yponomeuta) anomalella (Dufrane, 1960) (Hyponomeuta) malivorella Guenée, 1845 (Yponomeuta) Taxonomic Notes: Yponomeuta malinellus (Zeller, 1838) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico. Introduced from Europe to western USA. (Unruh et al. 1993).
