Synonymy: gemmata (Grote, 1873) (Oeta) fastuosa (Zeller, 1877) (Oeta) Taxonomic Notes: Atteva gemmata (Grote, 1873), collected in Upper Key Largo in 2018 by Jim Troubridge, is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico.
