Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Phalaena porrectella Linnaeus, 1758 • Tinea hesperidella Hübner, 1796 • Plutella vigilaciella Clemens, 1860 Taxonomic Notes: Plutella porrectella (Linnaeus, 1758) is placed in the genus Pseudoplutella, n. gen., in Baraniak (2007). This treatment apparently not widely accepted and ignored by subsequent authors.
