  • Taxonomic Notes: Lepidotarphius perornatella (Walker, 1864) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico. The presence within NA of this Asian species was first published in Austin et al., (2017), with its discovery in Iowa. The earliest known record is from Illinois in 2016 (Harrison et al. 2019).
