Synonymy: heriguronis (Matsumura, 1931) (Nothris) iothalles (Forbes, 1939) (Trichotaphe) oceanis of authors; not Meyrick, 1920 (Dichomeris) misappl. picrocarpa of authors; (not Meyrick, 1913) (Carbatina) misid. Taxonomic Notes: Dichomeris heriguronis (Matsumura, 1931), formerly a synonymy of Dichomeris oceanis Meyrick, 1920, is returned to full species status and includes as a synonym Dichomeris picrocarpa of authors; (not Meyrick, 1913).
