Similar Species: 2298 Dichomeris juncidella has an outwardly curved pm. line and lacks orange scales on top of head. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: agonia Hodges, 1986 (Dichomeris) trinotella (Busck, 1906) (Trichotaphe) preocc. Taxonomic Notes: Dichomeris agonia Hodges, 1986 is a replacement name for Trichotaphe trinotella (Busck, 1906).
