Distribution: Florida (Hodges, 1986), southern California (BOLD), Arizona (Barman et al. 2021).

Host familiy: Fabaceae.  Host genera: Cajanus Cyamopsis Desmodium[=Codariocalyx] Glycine Indigofera Medicago Sesbania Tephrosia Trifolium Vigna.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)
Similar Species:
  • 59a0513 Dichomeris nenia: has a row of gray scales above the eyes, not orange as in acuminata.
