Synonymy: adustipennis (Walsingham, 1897) (Lathontogenus) crotalariella (Busck, 1910) (Lipatia) palpigera of authors; (not Walsingham, 1891) (Gelechia) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Mesophleps adustipennis (Walsingham, 1897) replaces 2272 Brachyacma palpigera of authors; (not Walsingham, 1891), (Li & Sattler, 2012).
