Distribution: USA: NJ to FL and TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Taxonomic Notes: "Anacampsis" n. sp., provisional placement, is a widespread undescribed species from the US southeast represented by BIN group BOLD:AAD3505. DNA barcode seems to place it near Anacampsis and Battaristis. JF Landry (pers. comm., 2019) advises that genitalia separates "Anacampsis" n. sp. from both genera.
