Distribution: Type locality: Alpine, TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Stomopteryx metadesma Meyrick, 1927 Taxonomic Notes: Aproaerema metadesma (Meyrick, 1927), n. comb. inferred by Aarvik, et al. (2017) and formalized by Lee & Landry in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023), was formerly in the genus Syncopacma.
