Distribution: Cherry Co., NE and Morgan Co., CO west to WA and Los Angeles Co., CA. Similar Species: 2102 Chionodes ochreostrigella tends to have a more pale head and thorax with less dark scales and forewing with more pale yellow along the base of the inner margin. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: rhombus Hodges, 1999 (Chionodes)   Type locality: Cococina, AZ.
