Distribution: USA: OR (Huemer 1988), WA (BOLD); Canada: BC (BOLD). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: proxima (Haworth, 1828) (Recurvaria); Lectotype: Great Britain. horticola (Peyerimhoff, 1871) (Gelechia) maculiferella (Douglas, 1851) (Gelechia) maculivicinella (Bruand d´Uzelle, 1859) (Gelechia) Taxonomic Notes: Caryocolum proxima (Haworth, 1828) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico from Eugene. OR (Huemer, 1988).
