Synonymy: Gnorimoschema atriplex Busck, 1910
Taxonomic Notes: Scrobipalpa atriplex (Busck, 1910), formerly placed in the genus Euscrobipalpa in Powell & Povolný (2001); this species is returned to the genus Scrobipalpa by Huemer and Karsholt (2010), following the synonymy of Euscrobipalpa with Scrobipalpa in Ponomarenko & Park (2007).
