Synonymy:
  • chiquitella (Busck, 1910) (Gnorimoschema) - MONA 1983: 2013
      Type locality: Mesilla, NM.
  • Taxonomic Notes: Phthorimaea chiquitella (Busck, 1910), n. comb. (Corro Chang & Metz 2021), was previously transferred to the genus Tuta in Povolny & Powell (2001) and subsequently returned to the genus Scrobipalpula in Lee et al. (2009).
