Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: quinquepunctella (Chambers, 1875) (Hyponomeuta) - MONA 1983: 0200 TL: Lectotype: Bosque Co., TX.   Note: Lectotype designated by Davis (1967). paradoxica Chambers, 1878 (Prodoxus) TL: Lectotype: "Nine miles north of Colorado Springs and thence 5 miles east of the mountains, Colorado".
