Similar Species: Other species in the genus Lampronia. Alloclemensia americana is apparently known only form the type specimen. BOLD specimens are likely misidentified Lampronia. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: americana Nielsen, 1981 (Alloclemensia) mesopiella (Poole, 1996) (Incurvaria) missp. mesopilella (Davis, 1983) (Incurvaria) missp. mesospilella of authors; (not Herrich-Schäffer, [1853]) (Incurvaria) misappl. trimaculella of authors; (not Duponchel, 1838) (Incurvaria) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Alloclemensia americana Nielsen, 1981, Entomol. Scand.,12(3):271-294, includes as a synonym 0179 Lampronia trimaculella of authors; (not Duponchel, 1838).
