Distribution: Type locality: Liberty, TX. Larva and Host Plants: Rudbeckia Genitalia: See Heinrich (1921), pl. 95, fig. A (♂) - erroneously shown as I. similiella. Similar Species: Isophrictis similiella is separated by male gen., DNA barcode, larval and pupal characters, and host plants. Pinned specimens of related species.
