  • tesquella Clemens, 1860 (Stilbosis) - MONA 1983: 1609 TL: "None given. [Pennsylvania ?]" (Hodges 1978).
  • quinquicristatella (Chambers, 1881) (Laverna) TL: Amherst, MA.
  • quinquecristatella; Walsingham, 1882 (Stilbosis) emend.
      Note: Walsingham (1882) synonymized quinquicristatella with tesquella, but used the spelling quinquecristatella, an apparent emendation which seems to have prevailed through the mid 20th century. In listing tesquella Clemens, Hodges (1964) recognized quinquecristatella Walsingham as a "correction of spelling", but then dropped the name altogether in Hodges (1978), MONA Fascicle 6.1.
