Taxonomic Notes: Eteobalea intermediella (Riedl, 1966) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico. Introduced from Europe to control toadflax (Linaria spp.; Plantaginaceae); it may not be established (Hansen, In Biological Control).
